I strongly support Manuel "Mar" Roxas II as the next President of the Philippines and as the Liberal Party nominee not because he is the scion of the wealthy Araneta family or just because he is the namesake of former President Manuel Roxas, it is because of his experience and his substance.

For me, experience matters in running a country. Not only popularity, experience should be counted in the upcoming elections because our country's future is at stake. Sen. Roxas' experience mixed with his deep substance is a formula of a candidate that will unite this deeply divided country. For a decade of divisive politics rooted in this generation of Filipinos, we are looking for a new kind of politician --- a once in a lifetime candidate that will give us hope and a new, the right direction for our country. He is a new breed of politician --- far beyond the dark age of Erap-Gloria politics of today and the past.

Substance matters because he is not only experienced but he has the charisma of uniting and moving our country forward. For him, having received the largest electoral mandate for any Filipino politician is not only a mandate based on popularity but a mandate of trust he earned in serving the common Filipino.

I am thrilled to throw my support as early as now to a candidate that will run on his political principle and ideology not based on his celebrity stature. This upcoming election will be a make or break for our dear country, the Philippines, so I encourage all Filipinos to rally behind a once in a lifetime candidate that will bring change and unite our divided nation.

I am John Glenn Cando, a Filipino political science student from the University of Hawaii, USA, and I am supporting Mar Roxas as the next President of the Philippines.

Why will I support Mar A. Roxas for President in 2010 ? ( M. A. R.)

For me, the second decade of the 21st century will be the apex of the presidency. The person to become president in 2010, will be sitting in this institution which has been darkened and tainted for forty five years with great graft and corruption, by the past powers that be, must put an end to this moral putrescence of people in government and lift this office, once again, to new heights of power and prestige, both domestically and internationally.

I vehemently believe, MAR ROXAS is the man and the perfect choice for this office, THE PRESIDENCY.

His untainted image in government, his honesty, integrity and impeccability as a person can deliver to us, the long lost glory that we deserve as Filipinos. Mar Roxas is the symbol of Filipino future. The success of the Roxas and Araneta families in the field of entrepreneurship, can be the best example that, we, Filipinos can count on their son, MAR, in running the affairs of our government in 2010.

THE BEST HAS YET TO COME FOR US with MAR ROXAS’, at the helm.

So, join us now, AN HONEST MAR , we support all for 2010 PRESIDENT...

Mahalin Ating Republika(M.A.R)

I'll keep this short and simple. If Senator Mar Roxas would run for president this 2010, he would definitely get my support for maybe a thousand and more reasons (you can search for his achievements in wikipedia or the like sites). He simply stands out among the rest of the probable candidates. Even right now, without a clear platform, you know his focus and direction based from his achievements both in law-making and the Philippine economy.

He is in my opinion, easily relateable to the youth of today based on the issues he is fighting for. He is comparable to late former president Ramon Magsaysay as to being "close" to the people (As for Roxas, the "Palengke"). Now he has done almost everything as to what he fights for (He has filed bills on fighting sumggling, supporting labor, education, economy and alternative energy), but since I'm ECO-Oriented, I would like to see him implement strictly the Environmental Laws of the Philippines (we have the best laws in the world but sadly they are just in paper - no proper implementation and action), and as President, he can still do a good job in enhancing the economy and at the same time be environment friendly.

Sen. Mar Roxas- I knew this guy few years ago...

The son of former senator Gerry Roxas and the grandson of ex-president Manuel Roxas.Of course! He is the beloved boyfriend and soon-to-be-husband of the lovely lady broadcaster Korina Sanchez.

The former DTI Secretary who performed great service. He did everything to lessen the price of goods. Last 2004 elections, he ran for the position of senator and he was very fortunate to be the number one of that said poll. That was an evidence that he's really a public servant. That people believed on him. I am not saying this because he paid me to do so. I'm just an observer.

He deserves to be our next president...Why?

His Family background and experience in the world of politics will surely bear fruit any good to our nation. He's the only senator I found who is kinda religious and so "masa". Remember his trademark "Mr. Palengke"? That thing influenced many people to think that, "Oh! this guy is such a down to earth one". I remember his Email to me when I sent a letter regarding the Text Tax, he explained to me everything. He said that we have the same stand. To oppose that idea.

He did not hesitate to communicate to me even if he didn't knew who I was. He's so humble.

Another thing, he's rich enough to corrupt. So I dont have any worries that if ever he'll be in the position, he will be corrupt.

I really support Sen. Roxas if he's going to run on the next presidential election. He has the skills and potential. His advocacies are very relevant.

Oras na! Roxas na! It's the time for a change. Time to change the flow of politics. The decaying system of politics. He may have many TV advertisements which are really costly, but I don't think it affects Mar's credibility to be our next leader.

Let's encourage Sen. Mar... Among the rumored presidential candidates, he is the one whom I think deserves my support, my trust and my respect.
